Does your boat have a hard time entering or exiting your boat lift or boat slip/dock area because of an accumulation of sand or silt? We can remove the material that has accumulated in those areas with little or no disturbance to your property. We offer a free, on-site meeting to discuss how we can help you take control of the area of concern, and restore the value of your waterfront property.
Method Used:Our Residential Spot Dredging service uses large pumps that can pump the material directly from the problem area into a waiting dump truck. The material is then hauled away. If the owner wishes the material can be relocated to another location.
Advantage:This method of material removal has little or no affect on your dock, yard, plants, driveway, etc. When the work is complete there is a quick cleanup of the hoses needed for the pumping operation. Then you a free to use your boat or boat lift without waiting for a high tide.
Permitting:Requirements for receiving a permit vary according to location and nature of your project. We can handle all of your permitting requirements, including:
- Local Government agency permit
- Florida Department of Environmental Protection
- South Florida Water Management or other local water authority
- Army Corps of Engineers
Most dredge projects fall in the maintenance category, and approvals are received in approximately 30 days, but can take up to 6 months.
