The typical boathouse constructed by SteMic Marine Construction is approx. 16’ x 31’ . The roof can be constructed one of two ways: Open framed or built with premanufactured trusses. The open framed roof is constructed with all pressure treated lumber and allows a boat to go higher up into the roof. The advantages to the trusses are that they are less expensive.
